MAIN ECO COMPACT REVIEW BY AFTERGLOW PLUMBING AND HEATING.
The main eco compact has been out a few years now, so we felt it was a good time to say what we think about it. Available in 25 and 30 kW models, and a five year warranty. We don’t think there’s a boiler in its price range that can compete with its quality. And the reason it’s so good is because it’s practically the same boiler as the BAXI 600 and BAXI 800 boiler. With the only differences being the warranty the MAIN comes with 5 years out of the box, the 600 7 years and the 800 10 years. The other difference is you can’t get the pipes up the back of the main like you can the BAXI, BUT!! you can buy a rear stand off bracket to get around that problem.
SIMPLE TO INSTALL, SIMPLE TO SERVICE AND SIMPLE TO USE!
Here at afterglow we like simple, but the fact that it’s simple is one of this boilers greatest assets. Who needs over complicated gadgets it’s just more to go wrong! And the main isn’t any less efficient because of it. It’s built with solid components including brass water carrying parts and a stainless steal heat exchanger. It really is a premium product with a budget price tag. Overall great value for money.
